Summary: Everybody has a valid point of view. Respect those who disagree with you and try to understand their point of view.
Author's statement:
Once I was taking part in a pro-choice action, defending a clinic
from anti-choice demonstrators. One of my fellow defenders
was very critical not only of our opponents point of view,
but of our opponents themselves. At one point, while talking
about the buses the anti-choice demonstrators had chartered,
he said, "I know for a FACT that those are the CHEAPEST buses
you can get!" Well, good for them: they're thrifty.
It's important not to confused disagreement with dislike.
