Summary: If you need to wash your dishes thoroughly before putting them in the dishwasher, save the water and put them in the drying rack instead.

Author's statement:

If you need to clean the dishes before you
put them in the dishwasher, then what good
is the automatic dishwasher?  Using it 
for dishes that are already clean is just a 
waste water & electricty.

0 points - I thoroughly wash each dish before I put it in the dishwasher	25 points - I wipe the dishes down with a soapy spunge before putting them in the dishwasher	50 points - I rinse the dishes before putting them in the dishwasher
75 points - I only clean off the really hard stuff before putting the dishes in the dishwasher	100 points - I only either put the dishes in the dishwasher or I hand wash them.
