0 points - I get to the concert early; I stake out my turf; and I yell at anyone who comes near me 5 points - I don't let anybody near me, but I don't take up any extra space 25 points - I let my latecomer friends take up spaces near the front with me
50 points - I let my friends up front and I don't yell at other people doing the same for their friends 100 points - I only use my front row seat for half the show. I let someone else have it for the other half.

Summary: Even if you got there first, let a latecomer have some time near the front of a concert.

Author's statement:
At too many concerts there is a hostile feeling of everybody
grabbing space and protecting turf. This feeling
is exacerbated by the "first come, first serve" nature
of the seating. A better way of doing it would be
for everyone to have some time in the really good
seats and some time in the not-so-good seats. You
can do this simply by giving up your seat part
way through the concert. Then somebody else can
have it.
