NORTHERN ONTARIO IS FIGHTING TO SAVE THE WATERSHED AND WE NEED YOUR HELP.

We are trying to stop an enviromental disaster which will destroy the entire watershed of Our area of Northern Ontario.
Proponents in cahoots with the city of Toronto have made the decision to put Toronto trash (some 130 tonnes of it)and train it through the north to be dumped in Adams Mine and over 300 million litres of groundwater will be contaminated and treated each year for 20 years (or longer)

Proponents claim a hydraulic system which so far is still on the computer, will work flawlessly for 140 years thus preventing contamination of the groundwater. They haven't been able to create this system in "real life". THE RISKS ARE TOO HIGH!
Adams mine is at the height of the watershed!!! It is fractured ROCK! It was never NEVER subjected to a full environmental assessment.
The Adams mine was fastracked through a scoped Provincial hearing which limited the panel to ONE QUESTION!! The result was unclear & split yet the project was approved.

A handful of local council members have been in the pockets of Toronto Council and Notre Development and they've labelled us WILLING HOSTS.
NOBODY ASKED US!! There has been no referendum. Informal polls have resulted in percentages of 67 to 95 against this project. HOW DOES THAT MAKE US WILLING?

We have protested against this, we have been fighting for 10 years. We can't stand by and do nothing.
