I have been hearing all year about the Human Genome Project 
nearing completion and about the race between the private 
entity and the governmental entity competing 
to finish first. Has either of them finished it?

I wonder if it makes much of a difference which one finishes 
first in terms of genetic ethics. Is it "better" for the private
sector or the government to "own" the rights to this?

I don't trust either one.

Does it even matter? It is just a map not a patent.
