Roses only fail to come in spring
when they are not given the kiss of the summer heat.
The crack of wood, grasping the clear,
clapped sky, sparking a light brighter than the deep blue of the night.
The fireworks dispersed themselves
every which way onto the full moon's luminous brilliances.
A flutter of prickles of moist heat ran through my spine
and into my heartbeat. I wondered why is life so wonderful?
Then she leaned over pressing her lips to my soft warm and ready mouth.
