It was George's Dark Horse tour. The reason why his voice was gone was due to the fact that he had a very tight schedule that he chose to work under by writing songs for the album which he originally wrote except for the total makeover of the Everly Brothers' song, "Bye Bye Love" which he did as a fond farewell to his life with his ex-wife,Patti and their friend, Eric Clapton. He said "Bye Bye" to that and hello to his future with Olivia si nce they had just gotten together and she was on tour with him. In talking about "My Sweet Lord" on ATMP, I have to use the expression here because of that court case that he had dealt with. What made him go to court over that song was the fact that Bright Tunes, The Chiffons' publishing company, had a mistake in thinking that he had stolen their material for his own. Well, George never was the kind of guy nor the kind of artist to pull a stunt like that. No way! The girls were in love with a guy but, the lyrics to his song were what he wrote himself about our God and there's no two ways about when it's said that the love for God can't be mixed up for the love of a man-it's crazy. But, so are alot of people. I have listened to George all of my life and I have all of his music like everything written about him. Thus, was born, "This Song", that wonderful song that he made that wonderful video for for that wonderful album. The name of his assailant when he was stabbed was Michael Abrams, who Olivia had to fight off like how George was coaching her and their son,Dhani to this day doesn't watch a movie that's a horror flick or any horror show on television. I know the feeling about this but, the way I lost my father was a different situation-he was a policeman who had to try to stop a flourid schizophrenic who abruptly had long list of crimes he had been charged and he escaped from my father when tried to chase him down to arrest him. His death was of a natural cause-he died of a heart attack but, the guy got off scotfree. Yeah, I love to watch a good show and a good movie but, since I saw one happen in my hometown on the scene like that, it was like all of Hollywood was at home. Horror shows and soap operas are things that I stay away from because of that fact like how,too, I have since gotten over that but, it doesn't change my feeling about sick entertainment because it never did and never will. But, time heals and my mother married a wonderful man in my stepfather and everything is fine and perfectly safe. Although, they took me to the laundry mat one night and there was a girl in there that had been talking to the cleaning lady of the place who's a friend of the family's. They had a nice conversation but, the girl nearly attacked me when she overcrowded with false identity in that false knowledge of a non-existent friendship. My mother and stepfather saw and heard the whole thing and after I told her straight, she left me alone and hasn't been back in the place since. Thank God! for the laundry mat is safe and nice daily and nightly. I know what Olivia had to do in defensive in having that strong edge since I was born with from my mother. Life goes on within you and without you and the name of the Harrison family friend was Gavin De Becker. George Harrison, a true friend still today-the legacy still goes on.
