"Starling".  It's a European bird introduced into the US by a 
rich weirdo who thought that every bird mentioned in Shakespeare
should exist in the United States.  Most of his introductions
failed, but starlings now flock in huge numbers, causing problems
for other cavity-nesting birds like Bluebirds.
