I use to ride at Knollwood Farms, I actually trained horses in the showbarn and even lived out there!....Nancy too has taught me how to ride and I give all respect to her. When a horse acts up or does something that "could" potentially be a threat or even harm one of the riders there I don't see a problem with disciplining the horse. Just image the stress that she goes under being incharge of the riding program. That is one of the money makers for that farm and it also gives Scott and Carol potential future riders for the show barn. That's how that business is run. I will agree I have seen some "not nice" things happen out there. Just think of it this way, Who you going to let win? you or the horse? I started riding out there the first summer Knollwood came to Hartland from Grafton, That was in 92'!! I stayed out there till fall of 2004. So I have been around. You got to look at it this way, they are just covering their asses and making sure that they stay afloat. Because if you actually get into the business it's all about $$$$.
