There are lots of alternatives to using animal products
in the home. You shouldn't vote against a guideline
just because you can't comply with it or because it is hard
to comply with.
If it is a good thing that will help the human race,
then you should vote for it. You will not be able to
comply with all of the guidelines. You should
accept this and still vote based on whether or not
you think the guideline is beneficial.
For instance, we cannot all be as heroic as
Julia 'butterfly' Hill and go live in a tree for
2 years in order to save 1 grove of redwoods.
That does not mean that "live in a redwood tree
in order to save it" is not a good guidelines.
That all being said, I agree with you about the
"Reduce animal by-products in the home" is a poor
guideline. You are right. It is too general!
There are actually 3 good guidelines embedded in
this one guideline. "Don't buy leather couches",
"Don't buy down comforters" , & "Don't support taxidermy"
Additionally, the title is mispelled.
