I really don't think you or anybody else, relatives included, would want to see a mass of goo or only the scattered pieces of identifable body parts that are in those flag-drapped caskets. Those bodies which ARE "viewable" are viewed by loved ones if they choose. Same applies to any other dead person who happened to die a violent death like in a plane crash etc.. The media, for all it's faults, rarely if ever, show anything graphic like that. You can see a lot of graphic gore on the History Channel. Just saw a few episodes about Hitler yesterday in which they graphically showed the execution of the Jews. The actual shooting of them. Not to mention the grotesquely displayed bodies. Watched plenty of footage of blown appart bodies in their shows about WWII, Vietnam and the Gulf War. I'm too old to serve my country, but I'd go in a heartbeat if I could and gladly kill my enemy without remorse. We, as a free world, can't let the Hitlers and ToJos of today take that away from us. Ya gotta nip it in the bud. We didn't do that and ended up getting whacked on 9-11. I hope we establish a strategic military stronghold in Iraq. I hope that was part of Bush's goal. We're going to have big problems with the radical elements of the Arab world in the future and there's no better place to be right now than right smack dab in the middle of 'em. From the time this country was founded, we've had to fight for our freedom. And we still do. Freedom ain't free. Anyway....... Don't freeze up there. 21 degrees at our place this mornin'. L.A. thinks it's Winter right now.......swear to God! The last time I saw people dressed like they are here was when I was watching The History Channel show people climbing Mt. Everest! :-D Chat at ya later neighbor! Rod in da Bunker.
