Interesting...however, there's too many logical fallacies in this argument for it to be valid. First of all, if everyone ate strictly vegtables, then a whole of domestic animals would die. how come? Well, in order for non-living things to be protected, we must get rid of the things that kill them, right? So, humans stop eating meat. Fine. But what happens to the animals? We'd still have to feed then or they would die (or if they are not domestic, they would feed themselves). Now what will happen is overpopulation due to an upset in the food chain, leading to many more deaths than what would have occured when cows were still our food. Unless vegatarians propose we slaughter millions of cows so that the grasses can go on living. Furthermore, corn is a grain, and grasses are just that, not a vegetable. "Vegetable" is a very specific term relating to herbaceous plantlife. But that's just me being picky.
