Another state has come to the realization that industrial hemp
has potential, but first it needs to be legally seperated from
its intoxicating cousin, Marijuana.
The following is an excerpt from Hemp Industries Association's
daily hemp report.
< On Wed. May 3, 2000 The Vermont Senate passed JRS098, " Urging
U.S. DEA and U.S. Congress to reconsider Federal policies that
restrict the cultivation and marketing of industrial hemp and
related products."
By passing this resolution now, Vermont will join the list of ten
states that have signed progressive hemp bills and resolutions in
the last twelve months, including: Arkansas, Hawaii, Indiana,
Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota,
and Virginia. >
Considering that a few of the country's indian tribes and
several state's are actively moving the debate on industrial
hemp along, I bet it won't be long before cultivation of hemp
becomes legal which will revolutionize many american industries.
