Metallica is forcing Napster, a Santa Cruz based online music 
provider to stop allowing users to download its music and has
collected a list of over 300,000 user names they want the 
company to bar from the service.
I don't think that Metallica gets the point of the service.
Allowing individuals to download songs serves to broaden the fan
base and brings much more exposure to the band.
When sales begin to slump it is not the market one should blame,
it is the product.
