It had been quite a long time since I had last signed on to my beloved Goodhumans.com, and after posting a few responses, I decided to browse through the newest guidelines. After reading through the usual dreck of how clipping our cats' toenails and only buying hemp toilet paper will save the planet from enevitable annihilation, I came across a very familiar guideline. This particular guideline was quite witty and conservative, and read like it could only come from the brilliant mind of someone like myself. Then I realized, that, hey! it did come from someone like myself. Specifically, me! I wrote it over a year ago as a way of introducing myself to the Goodhumans' community. However, lo and behold this particular post no longer gave credit where credit is due, namely, your humble Fyrestarter, but to some unknown cretin named orangegoat222. (The name of the Guideline, in case anyone is wondering, is Think! Read! Learn! Know!; everyone should at least glance at it before turning away, spitting in disgust) What I find particularly hilarious, is that this genius, Mr. Goat, copied and pasted the note but left my email address at the bottom. I'd just like to say, that while I am not so lacking in self-esteem that I need to have credit for something I wrote on the internet, as a writer I despise plagiarists and would gladly pay to see him eaten by a pack of starving boars. Perhaps I will start a new guideline: Shoot Plagiarists in the Face with a 12 Gauge Shotgun.
