Hello Sebrina:
I don't have Eczema, but my 31 year old brother has had it his
entire life. Unfortunately my mother allowed him to be subjected to
medications containing steroids and creams which has gravely affected his
weight, he is now extremely overweight. Of course there are
alternative remedies. According to ALTERNATIVE MEDICINE compiled by
THE BURTON GOLDBERG GROUP, a whole foods diet might be incorporated
if your daughter is allergic to certain foods. Try to find out what
if any allergies she has. "Eczema may be a symtom of an omega-3
fatty acid deficiency." For topical treatment the book recommends
"Evening Primrose Oil applied directly to cracks and sore areas of the
skin(folds such as elbows and behind the knee for example) may be
very helpful in promoting healing."Perhaps you'll seek professional
care in the form of therapies (Naturopathic Medicine)from qualified
health professionals. I wish you and your daughter great health
and well-being. Kind regards, Tucker
