*but they couldn't prove a link to Osama and Al Q no matter how hard they tried

then it was about:

-Weapons of Mass Destruction
*but that couldn't be proven either and the weapons inspectors didn't find any

then it was about:

-freeing the Iraqi people from a evil, ruthless dictator
*and has remained as such for some time now
but it's amusing that we trained and armed this "ruthless dictator"
back when he would still play ball with us

Regime change should begin at home.
