Boo Hoo...a single tear runs down my cheek. You want to know what you should do, buddy? Your "heartwrenching" story reminds me of a quote from that horrible movie "Liar Liar" with Jim Carrey. In this particular scene, Carrey's character, a lawyer, recieves a phone call from one of his more recalcitrant clients and claims to need legal advice. Carrey's truthful response? "Stop breaking the law, @$$hole!" My answer is the same to you. You want people to feel sorry for you because our "oppressive" government wants to keep you and your wife from "enjoying" a little marijuana. Sorry, friend, it's not the government's job to assisst you in feeling "relaxed" and consequently, should not alter its drug policy because you were "unjustly" persecuted. If you break the law (as well as engage in mindless, destructive behavior -- which smoking marijuana certainly is) you deserve exactly what you have gotten. I only wish they had taken your kids away from you as well -- that would really teach you a lesson or two. You don't think that smoking pot erodes your ability to be a role model, as well as a provider, to your children? You should be the poster child for eradicating all drug use in this great country of ours. If we didn't have whiny, irresponsible people like yourself pointing the finger at everyone else and shouting "its not my fault that my life is so messed up" then this country might be as great as it once was. Unfortunately empty-headed, selfish people like yourself have far too much freedom, and not enough responsibilty. You got what you deserve.
