Being Blue for a Great Cause

An estimated $80,000 was raised through Yahoo! Auctions (http://auctions.yahoo.com), the largest free globally-branded online auction service, which enabled global bidding through the U.S.-based auction service as well as through Yahoo! auction services in Australia & New Zealand, Canada, Singapore, and the United Kingdom and Ireland. More than $34,400 was raised through Yahoo! Auctions Japan (http://auctions.yahoo.co.jp), the leading auction service in Japan, which also hosted part of the Celebrity Jeans Auction.

The combined auctions raised more than $114,000 for the National MS Society, Southern California Chapter. All monies from the charity auction will be dedicated to ending the devastating effects of MS, funding MS research, and promoting and providing critically-needed programs and services to individuals and families living with MS.

"Late Show" host David Letterman's vintage jacket brought in more than $8,000, and Britney Spears' custom-designed pants garned over $7,000. Some other top selling slacks on Yahoo! Auctions or Yahoo!
